Round 1 Guidelines
Quran Competition - Round 1: read these guidelines before recording and uploading your new recitation.
Eligibility
Round 1 is for selected participants. Check your name in the official selection list and use your existing registered email and Competition ID.
Recitation
Students must recite clearly with proper pronunciation. Tajweed category will be judged more strictly.
Video Submission
Submit a new, self-recorded Quran recitation video, no longer than 3 minutes. It should be clear, unedited and recorded in one take where possible. Maximum file size: 350MB. Allowed formats: MP4, MOV, WEBM, AVI, MKV.
Judging
Judges may consider pronunciation, fluency, confidence, memorization accuracy and presentation.
Results
Results will be announced after review. Winners may be featured on the Past Winners page.
Upload & Media Consent
Upload on the official Round 1 page using your registered email and Competition ID. Read and tick the consent before selecting your video. Recitations are uploaded to the academy YouTube channel as Unlisted; anyone with the link can watch and share them. The academy may display them on its website or social media.
